My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tala is a 3 year old german shepherd looking for a foster or adoptive home! She is used to living with other dogs and young kids. This girl is a people dog through and through, she loves to be by your side and is an excellent companion. She was surrendered by her owner who could no longer care for her and she’s pretty stressed about being in the shelter. She could really use a foster while she waits.
Tala is house trained, knows basic commands, eager to please, and she is very smart. She is timid at first, but doesn't take long to warm up. She does need some leash work, but with consistency, she'll be up to standard in no time. Tala is an excellent dog that is ready to find her furever.

Please complete our online adoption application if you wish to apply for one of our adoptable pets. Adoption fees range from $200 to $400. All dogs adopted from PAWS come with 1 month of free daycare at KC PAWS. All pets adopted from PAWS will be current on their vaccinations and spayed or neutered and microchipped prior to their release.

Please be patient as we often receive multiple applications therefore the time frame may vary slightly at times.

More about this rescue

We are an organization determined to work for the benefit of animals in need. Whether it be helping to find new homes for our adoptable friends or working in connection with local and City agencies to investigate cases of cruelty and neglect. Our staff is able to handle a wide variety of these types of issues as well as working with animals with behavioral, socialization, or training issues.
