My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Omelet! I'm 1/8th of the "Breakfast Club" and I'm so excited to meet you! I was born around the 11th of November and a month later, my siblings and I were left in a box on PAWS doorstep. The people at PAWS say I'm likely a Flat Coated Retriever and German Shepherd mix, but we don't know who my mom and dad are, so that is a guess! I will likely be a big dog around 60-70 pounds. Since coming to PAWS I have started to learn how to be in a crate, I'm working on potty training, and I've absolutely loved getting to play with my siblings and with the PAWS team. I would love to have a home of my very own to continue learning and growing big and strong! If I sound like a good fit for you, PAWS says you can fill out an application to meet me!

Please complete our online adoption application if you wish to apply for one of our adoptable pets. Adoption fees range from $200 to $400. All dogs adopted from PAWS come with 1 month of free daycare at KC PAWS. All pets adopted from PAWS will be current on their vaccinations and spayed or neutered and microchipped prior to their release.

Please be patient as we often receive multiple applications therefore the time frame may vary slightly at times.

More about this rescue

We are an organization determined to work for the benefit of animals in need. Whether it be helping to find new homes for our adoptable friends or working in connection with local and City agencies to investigate cases of cruelty and neglect. Our staff is able to handle a wide variety of these types of issues as well as working with animals with behavioral, socialization, or training issues.
