Chutney is 8 years old, neutered, up to date on necessary vetting, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $300.
Due to Chutney's special needs from his troubled past, he does have a few requirements for his forever home:
-Must have another small dog in the home
-Must have a secure fenced in yard
-Needs a home with no small children
Meet Chutney, a sensitive soul looking to find a quiet and patient home. Chutney was found running in the middle of nowhere, cold and afraid. Luckily, a volunteer of ours was able to scoop him up and get him to us safely. He is a scared and timid little guy, but is warming up day by day and learning to love life. Because he is timid, he would do best in a home with no kids, or older ones that will understand he needs his space. Chutney does great with other small dogs and will need one in his furever home to help him continue learning to be a house dog. He is very dependent on his canine friends and is shut down without them. We strongly believe that the best way to make him successful in a home setting is to have a dog that he can learn from and will help him be more comfortable with his people. He is a flight risk, so he will need to be monitored at all times when outside. Chutney is very food motivated, and is a quick learner once he is comfortable. His favorite activities are following the other dogs around, asking for snacks from the staff, and snuggling up in his bed. If you think you can give Chutney the home he needs, apply to meet him today!
