My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Courage!

This boy is far from cowardly! Courage is one of the friendliest dogs you could ever meet! He loves meeting new people of all ages. We think he would be the perfect family dog. His go-to moves are hugs and rolling over on his back for belly rubs. Courage enjoys sharing his toys with his people and doggy friends and will often drop them in your lap for you to throw them.

Courage is not only good with people but he is great with other dogs too. He has been around dogs of all sizes and happily coexists with them. He is very patient with pushier dogs and will often just give a quick correction and then move back on to playing with his toys. Speaking of toys, Courage LOVES loves his toys! He would happily raid a pet store if given the chance and try out every toy he possibly can! His favorites are soft rubber toys that he can squish in his mouth while he carries them through the house or around town on his walks. Courage has even had experience around horses and does well! He has also met cats and done ok, he needs a little work on not chasing them but he doesn't seem to want to injure and is easy to redirect with a treat or toy!

Courage would love to go to a moderately active home that would take him on adventures! He enjoys going on walks but his favorite outdoor activity is swimming. True to the lab half of his breed mix, Courage is an avid water dog! He loves to fully submerge himself whenever he gets the chance to go into the water.

This boy's love for people makes him very attentive to his person. He is already fairly well trained as he knows 'Sit', 'Wait', and 'Paw'. He is treat, ball, and attention motivated which makes training fun for everyone involved! He will likely master obedience in no time with more one on one time. Does this sweet and cuddly boy sound perfect for your family?

Call the Ranch to come meet him today!

Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert.
