Foster or Adopter Needed
Meet Chloe! This smart, cuddly, and incredibly charming little lady is searching for her forever family. Chloe is a 4 1/2-year-old Chihuahua mix with a unique, mostly hairless look—born that way and rocking it! Whether she’s flaunting her natural beauty or strutting around in a stylish outfit, she’s always turning heads. Weighing in at around 15 lbs, Chloe recently had a much-needed dental procedure due to prior neglect. Now, she’s feeling better than ever! Though initially a bit shy around new people and critters, treats are the way to her heart—she warms up quickly with patience and positive reinforcement. She would thrive in a home with other dogs of similar size, though she does have some food insecurities and prefers to be fed separately. Chloe is incredibly intelligent and eager to learn. She’s making great progress in:
* Leash walking
* Recall training
* Crate training
* Potty training
Sadly, her previous home did not provide her with any training and even considered euthanasia due to her anxieties. But with love and guidance in her foster home, she has blossomed into a resilient and affectionate pup. She just needs a patient, understanding home to continue building her confidence! Chloe loves cuddles, playtime, outdoor adventures and training sessions. She currently lives with cats, a similarly sized dog and a larger dog. While she gets along well with her small canine friend, she isn’t always a fan of the bigger pup or the cat. Ideally, she’d love a doggie sibling her size who is medium energy like she is, and confident. A fenced yard is preferred, but as long as she gets ample walks every day, that would be acceptable. She rides well in the car, doesn't get barky or whiney. She is used to sleeping in the human bed with her person at night.
Chloe's ideal home:
* Experienced owner preferred (especially with nervous/insecure pups)
* Other small, friendly dogs are a plus
