Beautiful Mei is looking for her new home! Mei is a 2-year-old Shiba Inu who was recently released from a breeder, so she is learning to be a pet now and loving it.
Mei is a loving and loyal dog who adores her person. She is intelligent and curious about the world around her. Although she can be a bit standoffish in new situations, with time and patience, she will learn to trust you and become your best friend.
Mei is good with older, calmer dogs, as she is not interested in entertaining puppies anymore. She would thrive in a new home with another dog to provide companionship and help boost her confidence. Currently, Mei is not leash trained, so a fully fenced yard is essential (please no invisible fences). She enjoys being outside and is curious about what lies beyond the gate!
She listens well and responds when called to go outside or come in. Mei appears to be house-trained, as Shibas are generally clean dogs that do not like to potty indoors. However, it's important to expect occasional accidents and be prepared for a little extra training as she adjusts to a new home and routine.
Mei is food motivated and loves her treats! She has begun to play with toys but particularly enjoys chewies, especially cow hooves. Once she feels comfortable with her new family, she is eager to please and very affectionate. Keep in mind that Mei has a big bark, so she would not be suitable for apartment living.

We require that a martingale collar be used at the time of adoption. If you do not have a martingale collar, you can purchase one from Pixie Mamas for an additional $10. This requirement is in place to ensure the dog's safety and security.
Mei is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm. Her adoption fee is $475
