Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Miso and his siblings came into our care from a terrible environment. Their mom tried to take care of them as best she could, but by the time help was sought, she had wasted away to just 3 pounds (the average adult cat weighs around 8 pounds). Unfortunately, mom's health had deteriorated beyond recovery and she passed away in hospital care.

We are determined that her babies will have a better life. They are around 11 weeks old and have been residing in a foster home. We are now accepting applications for their adoption.

Does this cat get along with other cats? There is almost always an acclimation period when a new pet joins the household. We are happy to suggest a few ways to ease the transition. That said, Miso enjoys the company of other cats very much!

Does this cat respond well to dogs? The more important question is how the dog responds to cats. Most cats will adjust to a dog, given time and patience. If the resident dog's response to cats is unknown, that should be determined prior to adding a cat to the household. We can offer a few suggestions. Miso is in a foster home with dogs and, while he is still nervous around them, he is familiar with them.

Is this cat good with children? The better question is how the children have been taught to handle animals. A cat will respond negatively if he/she is not being handled properly. We can offer suggestions on how to teach children to interact with cats.

*ADOPTION FEE: $100 (cash only) includes spay/neuter, distemper vaccine, FIV/FeLV test, and rabies vaccine (if old enough).
