Are you searching for a laidback feline companion who will fill your home with charm and occasional bursts of playful energy? Look no further—Kira is the purrfect match!

* About Kira:
Kira is a stunning calico beauty with a gorgeous mix of white, grey and light brown fur. Her sweet face is as captivating as her personality. She’s a gentle soul who enjoys the quiet life, making her ideal for a calm and loving home.

* Kira's Personality:
Chill Vibes Only: Kira is a relaxed, independent cat who enjoys her alone time but still loves occasional play sessions.
Occasional Zoomies: When the mood strikes, she’ll show off her playful side with adorable bursts of energy.
Trust Is Key: Once she gets to know you, Kira will happily let you pet her and even pick her up for cuddles.
Expressive Miaows: She’s great at letting you know what she needs with her sweet and funny little meows.
Feisty Spirit: Kira isn’t afraid to let you know when she disagrees—she’s got a bit of sass to balance her sweetness!

* The Ideal Home for Kira:
A quiet household without other cats or dogs.
Someone who doesn’t have tons of time to play but loves to relax with a furry companion in the evenings.
A family or individual who enjoys cuddles and calm moments but doesn’t expect constant attention.

* Who Kira Isn’t For:
People looking for a super active or highly social cat.
Households with busy, noisy lifestyles or other pets.
Those seeking a cat that craves constant interaction.

If you’re ready to welcome Kira into your home and heart, she’s ready to reward you with love, companionship, and her unique personality. Let’s help Kira find the perfect forever family!

More about this rescue

Kitten Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. We rescue cats and kittens from the streets of Los Angeles and from City Shelter euthanasia. Since our start in 1997, we have grown into one of the largest, most well-respected animal welfare groups in LA.

Kitten Rescue volunteers adopt out over 2,000 cats and kittens into homes every year. We educate the public about responsible pet guardianship, how to care for kittens and cats, and the importance of spaying and neutering. Kitten Rescue makes educational material available via events, print, school presentations and here on our website. We also provide Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance for communities in and around Los Angeles, and teach people how to manage and care for feral cat colonies.
