My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Welcome Blaze to CCPAL Rescue. Blaze is a 2-year-old Australian Cattle dog. He looks like a very high mix or a pure-bred dog. He is a beautiful brown color. He was found as a stray. He has some wonderful skills. He is good in a crate, good in a car, good on leash, does not jump up and knows the sit command with a hand signal. He was found as a stray on the streets of San Antonio. A good Samaritan picked him up and asked CCPAL to step up to find his forever home. He has gotten his first round of Distemper vaccines and the Bordetella. He will get the Rabies from the veterinarian before he is adopted. He is heartworm negative and very sweet. He is smart, attentive and this breed is very loyal and bonds deeply. If you love this breed you will love this boy. He is honestly perfect in our opinion. He is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. More about this rescue

C.C.P.A.L. seeks to reduce the enormous problem of pet overpopulation in Bandera County We promote low-cost spay/neuter programs; advise on basic health care & proper shelter for pets & offer excellent dog obedience classes several times each year. Since 2002, CCPAL has rescued nearly 5,000 animals. We are in constant need of foster homes for these pets until we find them homes. Our pets are in kennels on an acreage in Texas. We can use a transporter to get them outside of Texas if we find a great home.
