Meet Cooper – The Dapper Gentleman with a Heart of Gold!

With his silky tuxedo coat, chubby cheeks, and striking yellow-green eyes, Cooper always looks like he’s dressed for a formal event—but deep down, he’s just a big, lovable softie. This rolly-polly gentleman may be shy at first, but once he trusts you, he’s an affectionate cuddle bug who will happily head-butt you for pets and roll around at your feet, soaking up all the love you have to offer.

Cooper’s journey to indoor life has been a long one. After years of surviving on the streets, he’s finally safe, warm, and learning just how wonderful it is to be loved. Because of his past, he can be cautious and reserved at first, but with patience and kindness, he blossoms into a devoted companion who just wants to be near his people.

This sweet boy would thrive in a quiet, calm home where he has patient humans to help him continue building confidence. He could do well with older, respectful kids who understand that he needs time to feel secure. He also enjoys the company of other calm and friendly cats since he’s used to living in a colony, and he peacefully coexists with the small, gentle dog in his foster home.

One of Cooper’s favorite activities is watching the world go by from a cozy window perch and he would be thrilled to someday have a “catio” to call his own. He is often found out and about the house asking for love, but he also appreciates having a safe hiding spot where he can retreat when he’s feeling overwhelmed. Playtime is still new to him—he never really got to be a kitten—but he’s slowly learning to enjoy toys like trackballs and little mice.

More than anything, Cooper is grateful to finally be indoors, safe, and cared for. Now, he just needs a forever home where he can continue his journey from street survivor to spoiled housecat. Could you be the one to give this dapper gentleman the love he deserves?

You will be emailed a link to our online adoption contract. Simply fill it out online to transfer ownership from the rescue to you!

Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines. We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion!

Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent. We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.

Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.

Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.

Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age. We are able to PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
