My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Twix is an adorable, sweet boy that loves to snuggle up beside his foster mom every night at bedtime; he sleeps quietly throughout the night without disturbing her. Twix spends his days alternating between playing with cat toys or taking a nap in a soft, cushy cat bed.

He is shy when he meets new people and needs someone who will take the time to earn his trust so they can see what a friendly and affectionate cat he is. He has an adorable meow when he is trying to tell you he wants something - whether he is asking for pets or he wants you to open a bedroom door that has his favorite cat bed on the other side.

He gets along with the new foster kitties his mom brings home so he would be okay adopted into a home with an existing friendly cat or adopted with one of his foster siblings (ask his foster mom about them). Twix would not be happy in a single pet household because he is a social cat and needs a furry companion.

You are invited to meet this funny, curious cat and see if he is the right cat for you.

More about this rescue

Kitten Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. We rescue cats and kittens from the streets of Los Angeles and from City Shelter euthanasia. Since our start in 1997, we have grown into one of the largest, most well-respected animal welfare groups in LA.

Kitten Rescue volunteers adopt out over 2,000 cats and kittens into homes every year. We educate the public about responsible pet guardianship, how to care for kittens and cats, and the importance of spaying and neutering. Kitten Rescue makes educational material available via events, print, school presentations and here on our website. We also provide Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance for communities in and around Los Angeles, and teach people how to manage and care for feral cat colonies.
