Ever found a penny and had good luck? Well, any family would be truly lucky to adopt Miss Penny! We think Penny is Labrador Retriever and Shepherd with something smaller and calmer mixed in. She may look like a big dog at first glance, but she’s a perfect 45 lbs. of love and gentleness.

Penny has a calm, submissive, and affectionate nature. She gets along wonderfully with the two resident dogs in her foster home and has been friendly with other dogs she’s met on walks. She’s well-mannered in the house, quiet (we’ve yet to hear her bark!), and gentle when taking treats. She walks well on a leash, enjoys car rides, and sleeps peacefully in her crate at night.
