When available, all animals are fixed, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped!

From the foster: We call this good looking boy Roo. He is a bit shy but will warm up quickly with some treats. Roo enjoys playing with his ball and quiet toys. He loves the snuffle mat. He does get startled by loud noises, but recovers quickly with some snuggling. A sensitive boy, Roo responds to gentle correction. When Roo is done playing he enjoys sitting or laying next to his person. Roo does well with the commands, sit, come, kennel and out. Roo will be a loyal companion to his forever family.

More about this rescue

Colorado Puppy Rescue is a 501(c)3 no-kill rescue for young puppies. We accept puppies from kill-shelters in southern CO, NM,TX, OK and KS. Most of our puppies are mixed mutts under 12 weeks old, some are as old as 6 months. We do not have a shelter. All of our puppies stay in foster homes so the only time they are available for adoption is at our adoption events. We average 20 puppies a week and update our website with available puppies Friday afternoons.
