Meet Lexi!

Lexi is an adorable 6 lb, 8-week-old mystery mutt with a heart full of love and a fluffy coat that hints at a possible Australian Shepherd mix. She was sadly dumped underage at the Corona Animal Shelter as a single pup, but she hasn’t let that slow her down!

This little girl is as smart as they come—she mastered the stairs in no time, confidently mingles with dogs of all sizes, and charms every human she meets. She’s already showing great potty habits by following the pack outside, though she’s still working on full bladder control (typical for her age!). Lexi even puts herself to bed when she’s tired and has an undeniable love for toys.

Additional adoption info

We require an application, application approval, meet and greet, home check, adoption fee and a contract.

2 months -12 months: $425
1 year - 6 years $375
7 years+ - $325

Adoption fee includes :

Shots up to date of adoption, wellness exam, fecal test,
Spay/neuter, Micro-chip and any other medical needed.

We also require to stay first on the micro-chip info for life and have a life time return policy on all our rescue dogs adopted out.

Unfortunately, we do not adopt out of state under any circumstances. We recommend that you visit your local shelter or dog rescues in your area if you are looking to adopt.

I.C.A.R.E. is an all breed, no kill dog rescue. We rescue dogs at risk of being euthanized from shelters, abandoned, abused, and stray dogs. We also rescue many owner surrendered dogs; which are dogs that can no longer remain in their current homes due to financial or personal issues. I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue is dedicated to reducing the number of dogs that are euthanized in our shelters each and everyday. We focus on rescuing and rehabilitating them in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their permanent homes. We also focus on educating the public regarding specific breeds, rescue, and general information regarding the canine species. We are a 100% volunteer run and supported organization that cannot survive without the help of loving fosters, volunteers, and benefactors.
