Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Kapu, the red heeler with a heart full of potential and a little tail that’s just waiting to wag! This precious fella is as cute as a button, but he’s a little shy and overwhelmed by the hustle and bustle of shelter life. He’s the type of dog who needs someone who can be patient, gentle, and willing to give him the time and space to feel safe. But don’t let his bashful nature fool you—Kapu is ready to open up, and all it takes is a little TLC (and maybe a few tasty treats) to win his heart. Treats are his love language, so get ready to be his best friend! At a perfect medium size, Kapu is the ideal dog for someone who loves a smaller companion with a big heart. He might do best with a friendly dog buddy in the house to help him gain confidence, but with the right adopter, he’ll blossom into the loving, loyal pup we know he can be. If you're patient, understanding, and ready to help Kapu grow into the amazing dog he's meant to be, come meet him today and see if you’re the perfect match! Let’s help this little heeler find the forever home he’s been dreaming of.
By adopting me today you will save the life of two pets -- you'll save me and that will make room for the Shelter to rescue and save another pet.
