Hi, my given name is Captain Pearl although my foster mom nicknamed me Captain Crunch because I have a very unique, chirpy meow, especially when I am excited to see you and tell you all about my day. I might be a little reserved when I first meet you and want to sniff you quite a bit before allowing you to pet me. But very soon, I'll be giving you head butts and loud purrs, especially when you scratch under my chin. I am also quite chatty once I get to know you. I have excellent litter box manners, and love to use my scratching post. I also love being brushed (except for my tail and belly). I like to spend time being in the same room and sitting next to you but I don't always need to be held or petted. I'd also make an excellent home office cat. I'm not likely to make any unscheduled appearances on zoom calls but of course, since I'm a cat, I have the right to change my mind at any time! I have very strong communication skills and will give a warning chuff or swish my tail briskly when I am ready for you to stop petting me. My favorite toys are feather toys, kick toys and plush mice with long tails that I like to fling about the room. My foster mom also let me sleep at the foot of her bed and I really enjoyed that (hint hint). Will you be my furrever family?
