Meet Benji!

Benji is a sweet, affectionate pup with a heart full of love—especially for the ladies! This charming boy is potty trained, medium energy, and leash trained, making him a great companion.

Benji is a total cuddlebug who thrives on affection and seeks comfort from the women in his life. While he can be shy and cautious around men at first, give him a little time, and he’ll be snuggled up in their arms within a day. He just needs patience and trust to feel completely safe.

He does great with other dogs and according to his previous owners, has done well with cats too! If you’re looking for a loving, gentle pup who will be your loyal cuddle companion, Benji is your guy!

More about this rescue

The mission and vision of Hunter’s Village Rescue is to save dogs in need by placing them in loving forever homes. We are a foster home based nonprofit dog rescue located in the Hunter’s Creek Community (SW Orlando), Florida. HVR has identified a need in our community to assist, rescue, provide medical care, shelter, safety and love for abandoned and unwanted animals. We aim to instill in our community an awareness of these animals and encourage people to value animals while treating them with respect and kindness. We provide screening of all adoption applicants and assure dogs are placed into loving and nurturing forever homes. HVR provides these needed services through donations from our community and fundraising events.
