Hello! I am Sweet Pea! I am sweet, but I am spunky too! I am talkative and have a lot to say. I was owner surrendered after my owner went to a nursing home. I am still settling in to the shelter and I`m sure you can imagine it has been a big change for me coming here. I can be shy and even a little stressed in new situations, but if you give me time to adjust, I will warm up and be a wonderful companion. I would do best in a home without kids, as I can be sassy and don`t enjoy the chaos kiddos bring. I will enjoy a quiet home that is laid back and cat-experienced.

The Adoption Fee Includes:
- initial feline distemper combination vaccination
- first deworming or stool check
- rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age)
- 24 Petwatch microchipping
- flea treatment/preventative
- spaying or neutering

Adoption Cost: $50.00

FELV/FIV testing can be done for additional $35.00. Highly encouraged for multi-cat households.

Submit Application

All interested adopters need to complete a pre-adoption form prior to being scheduled to meet the animals.

2.
Approve Application

We will review your application and confirm home ownership/rental and the approval to own a pet.

3.
Meet the Pet

We will schedule you a time to come in and meet with the animals. You will have a staff member assigned to your meeting for 1 on 1 attention

COVID-19 Closure Information

The BCHS is open by appointment only!
Phones are answered and appointments are scheduled Tuesdays 10 AM to 4 PM, and Thursdays through Sunday 10 AM- 4 PM.

The Shelter is closed on Mondays and Wednesdays.
