My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Tucker!

This Golden Retriever mixed with some small dog is settling into his foster home in Colorado after making the trip from Texas. He is like a mini Golden with a super cute underbite. Photos make him look bigger than he is, he is a small guy

**He is a sweet but shy boy that is slowly opening up
**Already house trained with no accidents and good at letting you know when he needs to go outside
**He loves to go for walks and play with toys. He does the classic golden thing where he loves to show off his toys by carrying them around
**He is good with other dogs but does like his space right now as he is still a nervous and shy boy but other calm dogs he does great with and would even love to be an only dog
**He is good with older kids but younger kids can make him nervous and scared

He will be working on confidence, crate training, leash work, house training and more in his foster home

More about this rescue

“A Dog Rescue Doing More than Dog Rescue”
We are a young rescue (3rd year anniversary in Jan 2023), but we are here to lead the way of what rescue actually means and set the standard so others can follow.

We are doing more than just rescuing the dog.
We hold monthly group training classes for the community (yes, even those without rescue dogs).

We provide free training for our foster families.
We provide free training for our adoptive families.
We are doing more than just rescuing the dog, we are changing the pattern of surrendering by providing knowledge and education through our community.
It seems like a simple thought of course, but one that many rescue groups do not follow.
