You won’t find a sweeter dog than 4-month old Elbert. He enjoys playing with other dogs, gets along wonderfully with my senior cat (see video), but above all he LOVES people. He wants be near you, or better yet ON you, as much as possible. If you’re looking for an oversized lap dog, he’s your man.
Elbert will likely be a good off-leash dog as he stays close. He also walks beautifully on a leash (see video). He could be a take-everywhere sidekick as he loves meeting new people, is non-reactive to other dogs, and enjoys adventure. He also rides well in the car, is mostly house trained, and sleeps quietly in his crate all night.
Elbert is still a puppy and needs someone with the time and willingness to socialize with him and help him perfect his manners. He is medium active with a lot of goofy puppy energy to burn (he'll likely be lower energy as he matures). He’ll keep you laughing as he trips over his own big feet and face plants in the dirt. But don't let the derpy behavior fool you. Elbert is extremely attentive, wicked smart, and oh so eager to please. He's seriously amazing!
