Meet Bogart, a sweet but shy 1 year-old Chihuahua mix looking for a patient and loving home where he can bloom! Though he’s a little nervous at first, especially around men and children, he warms up to those he trusts, especially women. With time, Bogart’s true playful and affectionate nature shines through—he loves to run around and play with toys, and he’s known for getting the zoomies! He also enjoys curling up as a cozy lap dog, snuggling with his people for extra comfort. Bogart does well with other dogs of similar size but is not fond of cats. He already knows a few basic cues like "sit," "lay down," and "come here," and is doing great with his potty training. He’s crate trained and does well with bathroom breaks every couple of hours. If you're willing to give him the time and space he needs, Bogart will reward you with all the love and playfulness a little dog can offer! For more information on how to adopt, please call the shelter to see if this pet is still available for adoption. Then come to the shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 10:30-6 Tuesday – Friday and 10:30 – 4 on Saturday (closed 1-2 for lunch and the last Friday of every month).
