My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tappy arrived with us at a young age, we took notice immediately on her front legs going off to the side. Yet, in our eyes, she is perfect.

She would like a family who accepts her as she is. Her turned legs does not change her personality or her ability to keep up and continue on with what she enjoys doing.

She is happy to be around other dogs, she does not care what size. Tappy enjoys her people time, even though it takes her time to warm up and allow you to be her friend.

Tappy is vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. She is almost two years old and weighs a little less than 20 lbs.

Please complete an adoption application at www.pathwaysforpaws.com. If she fits your family and lifestyle, you will be contacted within 48 hours.

Additional adoption info

In some circumstances, meeting the dog and a home check are done at the same time if the dog is ready to be adopted. We do have conversation with potential adopters prior to them meeting the dog. If they are interested in adopting a puppy who is not ready for adoption (not altered, not UTD, etc) they are able to put a hold on the pup until ready for adoption.

More about this rescue

Pathways for Paws was founded in October 2019. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, animal welfare organization.

Our mission is to make spay/neuter & vaccinations affordable to those in our communities. By achieving this, we will help prevent the neglect & abuse of dogs. All dogs in our care are spay/neutered, given the age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped before going to their FURever families.

We work with rescues & fellow animal advocates to continue growing a network of volunteers and supporters.
