My name is Soru!

Looking for a family to care for our senior dog while we are abroad for a year, July 2025 - July 2026. We will cover all costs!!!

Soru was adopted from The Sato Project over 11 years ago in Brooklyn, and is probably around 13 years old. He was left in front of a vet’s office in Puerto Rico and has come such a long way. He feels more like a cat at times, with his gentle demeanor. Soru has been great with our 2 and 4 year old since they were born, and also loves cats. Does well with other dogs that are playful and bossy, and does well with car rides. Still has bursts of playfulness and play bows for attention. Down for long walks or lazing around. Has had no health issues until in his older age - we are removing a fatty tumor some time next month and he has a very low grade heart murmur.
