My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Peanut Butter, Pickles, & Taco Cat – The Perfect Palindrome Trio!

Like the best pregnancy cravings and the most satisfying wordplay, this trio is the perfect mix of sweet, salty, and just a little bit zany! Peanut Butter and Pickles are a brother/sister pair who found their purr-fect honorary brother in Taco Cat, and now they’re inseparable—playing, cuddling, and causing adorable chaos together.

Peanut Butter (boy) – The creamy, snuggly sweetheart (but mostly to his canine foster sister!). He’s all about soft blankets, LOVES all animals, and butt scratches. He tilts his head and scrunches is ears in the most adorable way. I can't fail to mention his wagging tail! He has a gorgeous silver tail and boy does he use it.

Pickles (girl) – The zesty, fearless explorer. She’s got just the right amount of sass and loves climbing, chasing, and keeping her brothers on their toes. She loves to groom her brothers, be held like a baby, and follow her foster family around the house.

Taco Cat (honorary brother & palindrome king! ) – A playful, affectionate goofball who completes the trio with his love for wrestling, zoomies, and always being in the middle of the fun. He is super affectionate and engaging. He loves to play with just about anything and you can count on him to bring the perfect amount of chaos to the group.

All three came to us from our amazing rescue partners at SCRAPS, and while they may not share the same parents, they love each other like true siblings. If you’re looking for a trio of best friends to fill your home with love, laughter, and just the right amount of mischief, these three are ready to find their forever family—together or separately!

This trio will be spayed/neutered on 3/26/25 and are available for foster to adopt now. They are dewormed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Their adoption fee is $100 each or $100 for a pair (or all three!).

Will you be the lucky one to bring home this purr-fect palindrome crew?

More about this rescue

From the day we could talk we told our pets more than we ever told our parents. We took the long route to see the kitty in the window down the street. We stopped even when we were late to pet the dog. We grew up and we saw what the world does to those who can't defend themselves. We are here to change that.

Ethical rescue, including fully vetting every animal and carefully placing them all into homes matched to their physical and mental needs is what we do.

Respecting all life, both animal and human, while retaining an underlying goal of keeping animals in their homes. and fostering a sense of community between local shelters and rescues is how we do it.
