Back in 2018 we rescued a little Chiweenie female (chihuahua mix with a Dachshund) from the Shelter. Last week we received a call from the County Shelter in TX about a little dog roaming around a neighborhood there. Originally the shelter received a call for a different dog lost dog in the same neighborhood and after trying to track him down, they spotted our little Cheweenie being fed scraps by a family with children. They mentioned to the officer they wanted to adopted her. Obviously they didn't care enough to bring her in their house or do much about it before hand, even though they said they’d seen her for months. We decided to bring her back to Florida.
One of our volunteer flew all the way to Waco Texas to get her and she is now in foster care with other little dogs and is adorable. Sophia is 12LBS and 6 years old. Her adoption fee is $390.00 and if you would like to adopt her please fill out an application online thanks. We do not adopt out of State and not with family with young children.
