My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ace, a young and energetic dog with plenty of love to give! Ace is an affectionate and playful pooch who loves to run around and have fun. He's also smart and a quick learner, making him a pup who loves to make his owners proud. All he wants is a family who can give him the same love and affection that he gives to them. Ace is a dog that loves to play with other dogs, stuffed toys or pretty much anything you throw his way. He is very athletic and is the epitome of a lean, mean, playing machine! If you're looking for a fun and loving dog, Ace is the one for you! Ace is fully vetted and ready to go.

Go meet their pets

We do our meet and greets by appointment since most of the animals in our care are actually in foster homes.

We are open the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month for walk-in visits, education and donations. Some pets may be on-site, but we do recommend submitting a meet and greet before coming.

More about this shelter

The shelter operates through a network of generous donors, volunteers and foster families.

HSforBC has no powers to act as animal control, but will work in conjunction with law enforcement as requested.

Found/stray animals are advertised and held for a minimum of 7 days. Animals that are not claimed will be brought up-to-date with vaccinations, microchipped, altered and become available for adoption.
