Introducing Asher! A gorgeous Siamese mix with short hair and beautiful blue eyes!  He was trapped by a nice lady who wanted to get him out of the cold! Asher’s age is up for debate!  Some guessed him to be approximately 2 years of age; however his foster mom believes him to be more like 1 to 1-1/2. Regardless, he’s a mild mannered kitty who is very sweet, but is a bit timid.

Asher loves other nice kitties.  He really would love nothing more than to have a BFF who he could snuggle with and play with. Crabby kitties scare him.  He doesn’t appear to have dog experience.  He probably would do okay with a small dog who is very laid-back and would respect his space. Children are a definite no for this guy.  Asher is very gentle and doesn’t have a mean bone in his body.  He definitely doesn’t want any trouble with people or animals, and just wants love. His foster mom tells us that he does love getting pet, and likes his tummy rubbed too!  He also does well being brushed.

Asher is going to be most successful in a smaller living situation. His foster mom tells us that more than likely he would go into hiding in a large home. He has skittish tendencies, so a quiet home is a must.  He’s a little bit of a project kitty, in that he needs time and patience to help him settle in to his new home and adjust to indoor living. Having a super laid-back and friendly kitty to learn from will really help speed up his acclimation process at his new home.  He also would benefit from having his new owner home much of the time.

Asher has been eating a raw diet; the benefits of which have been amazing for him. Asher’s foster mom can discuss that more with you. Asher has excellent litter box habits and is learning about the cat tree at his foster home. He is neutered, and is up to date on vaccinations. Asher tested negative for FIV/FeLV. An indoor-only home is required. As with all cats, there is no declawing allowed.  Minnesota residents only please. After all phone visits, his foster mom will choose the home that is the best fit for Asher. Asher’s adoption fee is $200. Note:  “Asher” is not actually a name he knows. It’s just one we used for this bio. His new owner may choose a special name for him once they get to know him!
