Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Latte and Munchkin are best friend guinea pigs looking for a loving guardian.
Latte is a tricolor American guinea pig, and Munchkin is a red and white American guinea pig. Munchkin is very friendly and outgoing; Latte is shy and likes to hide, but when you hold her, she just melts into your arms. They get along beautifully even though they are not related. Latte is two years old and Munchkin is three years old.
Sadly the family they live with are experiencing health issues and can no longer care for their beloved pets.
This duo eat unlimited timothy, orchard and botanical hays, two cups of fresh salad each day including cilantro, green, red leaf, and butter lettuce, parsley, and share a half cup of guinea pig pellets. Guinea pigs need daily vitamin C from fresh pellets, a 1-inch square of red pepper, or some of their dark leafy greens.
Please read up on guinea pig care and diet before adopting by visiting this excellent website http://www.guinealynx.info/
These girls would love a home with people who will handle them daily, keep them well-fed, nails trimmed, and keep their habitat nice and clean.
If you’re interested in meeting and possibly adopting Latte and Munchkin, please fill out the adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/guinea-pig-adoption-application/ and follow up to make an appointment by contacting friendsofpetraits@gmail.com
Their adoption fee of $50 for the pair benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue Group. For an additional $50, you can purchase their 2 foot by 4 foot Midwest guinea pig habitat and a starter kit of all the supplies you’ll need to care for them including water bottles, hidey huts, hay, pellets, and litter.
