Bubba is a sweet little guy that is taking in this freedom life and just soaking it up. He was born in a puppy mill and prior to rescue had little to no human socialization. He is shy at first and a little unsure about human hands, but foster mom is winning him over with belly rubs!

Bubba likes to play with toys and loves his snuggle pup when taking naps and at bedtime. He is great with other dogs and would do well with a playmate in his next home.

The Teddybear 'breed' is a mix of a Bichon Frise and a Shihtzu. Both breeds are loving and sweet dogs. Bichons are known for their sweet and playful personalities and Shihtzus are known for their happy disposition and companionship. Mix the two together and you have an adorable sweet and happy dog!

Bubba will need routine grooming about every 6 weeks and brushed/combed regularly (2-3x a week).

Bubba's adoption is $550. He is microchipped, current on vaccines, and on monthly flea and heart worm prevention. He is not neutered as we do not spay/neuter until at least 6 months of age. A spay/neuter contract will be required and a $200 reimbursement will be paid to your vet at the time of procedure. Applications at leiashope.org.

ALL OF OUR DOGS ARE IN FOSTER HOMES AND NOT AT A CENTRAL LOCATION. AN APPROVED APPLICATION IS REQUIRED BEFORE WE DO MEET AND GREETS.

WE DO NOT SHIP OR TRANSPORT DOGS. YOU MUST COME TO THE LOCATION OF THE DOG TO MEET AND ADOPT.

Dogs are a commitment for THEIR lifetime. For puppies this could be 15 years. If YOU cannot commit to the lifetime of the DOG, please do not apply. Puppies under 9 months must go to a home where there is someone home frequently (works from home or a partner is home), can adequately socialize and train the puppy, and can keep up with puppy energy!
