If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
This sweet dude needs someone who can keep him inside to keep him safe and where he can be a special little weirdo. Koba sometimes eats small toys and barfs up the stuffing, so watch for that. He's got an eagerness for food that is really unmatched.
We found Koba injured from some kind of animal attack. We believe he was a lost or abandoned pet because he's SO good with people, but he is often reactive towards other animals. With treats, he can learn to get along with other animals but it takes him some time. He is VERY food motivated, but not the sharpest tool in the shed.
We have been working on integrating him with our cats but we can't keep him. We think he's about 3yo. We don't want to surrender him to a shelter where he won't have the quiet and attention needed for him to adapt to all the other animals. Please consider adopting him, he deserves a forever home. He eats Hills CD and is on prozac, but could come off it once adjusted in a new place.
