Pumbaa has the best puppy dog eyes, and they’re near impossible to resist! This laid-back and gentle boy is doing great in his foster home. His foster mom reports that he is kennel trained and nearly potty trained. He is wonderful with other dogs, enjoying short play sessions with them. She says that is the most energy you’ll get from him, besides when he gets zoomies in the backyard. He will do best in a home with another dog to show him the ropes and engage in occasional playtime. Pumbaa is a sweet, chill, and loving boy at heart. His foster mom says he will make his forever family very lucky! Pumbaa is a 4 1/2 month old Rottweiler/Golden Retriever mix weighing 23lbs. If you are interested in adopting him, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org. *Due to his breed makeup, no apartments please!
*Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours.
*You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck
*Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row):
Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee
Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee
Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs.
