Miss Willow has had quite the rollercoaster year. This sweet girl first came to us last summer when her previous owner had to surrender her. After a few months of waiting, she thought she had found her forever home in November—but sadly, she was recently returned because she wasn’t getting along with the other pets in the household.
Willow tolerates other cats, but she much prefers her own space. However, when it comes to people, Willow is a total lovebug. She adores head scratches, will practically melt in your hands, and loves to roll around, showing off her adorable belly.
Willow is an easygoing, low-maintenance kind of gal. Her daily agenda? Sunbathing on her cat tower, napping in cozy spots, and snuggling up next to you on the couch. She just wants a quiet, calm home where she can be the center of attention. No drama, no chaos—just love, cuddles, and maybe a few treats.
At 4 years old, Willow is spayed, fully vetted, and FIV/FeLV negative. She’s ready to settle down for good this time, and we want to make sure her next home is truly her forever home. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and slightly sassy companion who will love you endlessly, Willow is your girl!

More about this rescue
Feral Friends of Millsboro is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit cat rescue, founded in 2007 and based in
Sussex County, Delaware.
Our mission is simple: to rescue and rehabilitate homeless, abandoned, and sick cats in need.
Our team of passionate, committed volunteers work tirelessly to provide care,
compassion, and a second chance to the cats who need it most.
We take in those who have been abandoned, surrendered, injured, neglected, or left to survive on their own.
Whether they're strays, pregnant cats, or vulnerable kittens of all ages, we provide them with a safe, nurturing environment, along with medical care, food, and love, until they are ready to find their forever homes.
While the conditions some of these cats arrive in are heartbreaking, we’re devoted to showing them what it means to be truly cared for and loved.
Beyond our rescue efforts, we’re also committed to reducing the feral cat population in Sussex County through the humane practice of Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). Over the years, we’ve not only cared for numerous colonies but also guided others in their efforts. Our on-site sanctuary is home to over 25 feral cats, where they enjoy a safe and comfortable space, complete with an indoor/outdoor screened-in catio.
Caring for our rescue cats is a 24/7 commitment rooted in unconditional love. The joy of nurturing them back to health and watching them thrive is immeasurable. While it’s hard to let them go when they find their forever homes, we find comfort in knowing we’ve given them a chance at a better life.
