Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Walker
Hello my name is Walker! I'm originally from Texas, but I've been thriving in Illinois. I just completed my heartworm treatment and I'm ready to find my forever family.
From what we know I'm around 4-5 years, and I'm a mix of lab and catahoula. I'm currently around 40 to 45 pounds.
I'm potty trained, crate trained and I do well on walks. I also love other dogs and kids. I sleep in my crate at night and when my foster family is out. All you have to do is throw a treat in my crate and I go right in! I currently live with 3 children ages 4 and 9.
I'm a super loving boy, and just want to be wherever you are. I love laying in the sun, snuggling on the couch or playing with toys. I know how to sit, and I love treats!
One thing about me is I love food. When I hear you getting my food ready, I get excited and sometimes jump. All you have to do is tell me to sit and I'll wait for you to put my bowl down.
My foster family does put me in my crate when they eat, as I also want people food. I'm not aggressive but I'm very curious about what you are eating. Once I'm in my crate I just rest until the meal is over.
If you are looking for a good boy who loves to relax and has a playful side, I'm the one for you!
