Meet SHAKES! A 7 month old kitten (much smaller than a typically kitten of this age), who has wobbly kitten syndrome. He has a very mild version of this so he is NOT limited at all in what he can do! When he came to us as a tiny 7 week old kitten, he wobbled quite a bit, but has improved immensely! He can climb cat trees, beds, and jumps well too. Uses the litter box with ease and eats two cans of Friskies pate wet food twice a day (he doesn’t get any dry),
So he may walk or jump a little odd, but again he will NOT get worse and has only improved. He definitely has to be a strictly inside only cat of course.
PERSONALITY: Shakes has a strong and loud purr. As soon as you touch him he starts purring. My daughter has begged us to keep him just a “little longer” so we did as he truly is a special little guy. He is pretty social and likes my two cats and walks around my dog too. He will jump attack on my two older cats so Shakes would do best in a home with a younger playmate! If not, shakes will attack YOUR FEET a lot! He can also come under your feet so please no older individuals who have issues walking as he is definitely a trip hazard lol.
He loves sleeping in bed with my daughter or up on his high cat tree like in video.
He is truly and special kitten that we have all grown attached to so hope to find him a very special home.

2) We give you copies of all forms.
3) we take photo of you and newly adopted pet.
4) we go over pet education packet as we do with anyone who adopts from us so you have a successful adoption.
5) adoption fee $100 and he comes with some of his wet food.
6) We take any kitty back if it isn’t working out . But all kittens need time to adjust

(More on wet food) Pease remember; our cats have a low thirst drive and NEED the moisture in the wet food. Since wet food is 75% moisture and dry food only 10%, that is huge for our felines. Cats need wet food daily to avoid a lot of dehydration related medical problems long term like urinary tract issues which can lead to litter box ovoidance and kidney disease or obesity issues linked to diabetes..
****How much?**** At least one (3oz. can a day but 2 cans recommended) or 1/2 of a 5oz. Can of Friskies pate wet food a day (although one full can, half in morning and other half at night, is recommended ).
We highly encourage 5.5-6oz a day of wet cat food.

4) 1 month after the adoption takes place we contact you to make sure the adoption is going well. This is the time you can share any cute stories as that is what we will share on our Facebook and IG pages.

Furry Nation Salvation, Inc. is a foster based all-volunteer non-profit animal rescue organization located in Florida. We commit our resources throughout Volusia County and surrounding areas in finding permanent homes for abandoned, unwanted, and neglected animals. Run by dedicated volunteers, our work is a heartfelt collaboration in making a difference for the innocent animals without a voice. Our foster volunteers “one on one” care help us to determine the animals true personality to best fit them into their forever home. We also promote, practice, and work, in the area of TNR (trap, neuter, return). This method of population reduction and control for feral cats has proven to be successful and we are committed to this method. FNS strives to educate the public on the importance of spay and neutering their pets and provide locations where they are able to do so at a discounted price. We assist in transporting animals to and from veterinary clinics, and help individuals place their unwanted pet who would otherwise be dumped at an animal shelter with an uncertain future. We do so by utilizing social media and animal adoption sites and always making ourselves available with support and advice. We love what we do and together we make a difference for so many. Furry Nation Salvation does not have a facility and rely on foster homes for our rescued animals. Our current goal is to establish a dedicated rescue facility to be able to help even more animals in need.
