Meet Penny!

Penny might be a little shy at first, but she warms up quickly and becomes the sweetest companion. Weighing in at 20 to 25 pounds, she’s the perfect size for cuddles! She loves to snuggle up on the couch next to you, especially if there’s a soft blanket involved.

Penny is a big fan of stuffed toys and chew bones, always keeping herself entertained. She recently discovered just how fast she is and loves to zoom around the yard, especially when playing with her dog friends. She had a blast running and playing with two pups her size and enjoys chasing during playtime. Penny is best with teenage kids and adults but would prefer not to cohabitate with littles.

Once Penny knows she can trust you, she’ll happily roll over for belly rubs and even give you sweet kisses. If you’re looking for a loving, playful, and snuggly pup to add to your family, Penny might be the perfect fit!

Adopt Me! Bluegrass Pet Rescue is a tax exempt, 501(c)(3), No Kill Rescue focusing on the adoption of homeless pets. We are also host to "PAWS BEHIND BARS" which is a basic obedience prison training program based out of Luther Luckett Correctional Complex in Oldham County, KY.
