When I was first rescued, my fosters noticed that I was a very noisy breather, and I was treated for an upper respiratory infection—something that’s pretty common for kitties who have been abandoned and live outside. But I’m no common kitty! What I actually have is a narrowed nasal passage and that means that I breathe mostly through my mouth. It sounds like I’m snorting all the time :)
Project MEOW has sent me to surgery twice to fix the problem, but it might be something that I live with forever. Despite this, I am having the time of my life! I love to play, and I bond very closely with my humans. I’m different, but I still want the same things as every other cat: a loving forever home—and I’m convinced that my forever family is out there!
Right now, I live with a dog and two other cats (we are still trying to figure things out… I think they are jealous of my good looks). I am very active and love toys, cat trees, window watching, and snuggling. If I’ve caught your attention and you can see past my noisy breathing, drop me a line by way of Project MEOW. I’m super friendly and fun and I am ready to be your best friend!
Donna Delancey is 2 years old and is spayed, FeLV and FIV negative, current on shots, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and litter box trained. She would be great as an only pet, or with other cats that are willing to let her be the boss!
Adoption fee: $100 (plus tax)

Cats under 1 year old: $150 + 8% sales tax = $162
Cats aged 1-10 years old: $100 + 8% sales tax = $108
Two kittens under 1 year old: $225 + 8% sales tax = $243
Senior Cats (10+ years old): $75 + 8% sales tax = $81
* You must be 18 or older to adopt. If you’re under 18, you must have a parent or guardian submit an application on your behalf.
* All cats must be kept indoors. In special circumstances, we may waive this requirement on a case-by-case basis.
* We do not adopt to any home that will declaw an animal. Declawing is cruel and unnecessary.
* All cats/kittens must be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
* Kittens under 6 months must be adopted in pairs or into a home with another active cat or cat-friendly dog.
* Your adoption fee helps to cover a small part of the costs of veterinary care. However, we strongly recommend that you take your new kitty to your vet for a check-up shortly after adopting to establish a relationship and a lifetime of regular check-ups and care.
