Precious is a petite cavalier that has lived her life as a breeder dog producing profit for her owners. She has not received the love and attention she deserved. She lived her life in a confined area where she received little socialization. She is shy but wants so much to trust and be loved.

Precious is still learning the ways of being a free dog and just being a normal dog. She can be a little overwhelmed with sudden movements and noises. The Cavalier breed is a loving and gentle breed and we know with time and love this lady will live up to the Cavalier traits people know and love.

She has been in a home with cats and other dogs and has been fine. We also think in the right home she will be ok as the only pet. She is considered a flight risk and a secure physical fence will be required.

Precious' adoption is $400. She is spayed, received a dental, current on vaccines, microchipped and on monthly flea and heartworm prevention. Visit leiashope.org for next steps.

PLEASE NOTE: We are a volunteer ran rescue with full time jobs. Please allow 7-10 days for application processing.
All of our dogs are in foster homes and a meet and greet is done ONLY after an approved application.
We do adopt out of the area. However, we do not ship or provide transportation. You must come to the location of the dog to meet and adopt. NO EXCEPTION. All family members and dogs must be present at the meet.
Dogs are a commitment for THEIR lifetime. For puppies this could be 15 years. If YOU cannot commit to the lifetime of the DOG, please do not apply. Puppies under 9 months must go to a home where there is someone home frequently (works from home or a partner is home), can adequately socialize and train the puppy, and can keep up with puppy energy!
