Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dungi is a 4-year-old male dog weighing around 18kg, making him a medium-sized companion. He was once tethered on a short 1-meter leash as a farm guardian, but fortunately, he was rescued and is now living in a foster home in Korea. Despite his difficult past, Dungi is a sweet, gentle dog who loves people and is now eagerly awaiting a loving family to call his own.
Dungi has a friendly personality and gets along well with everyone, regardless of age or gender. He enjoys human companionship and is well-mannered indoors. He does not mark his territory like the other male dogs or chew on objects and is calm, even in response to sounds like doorbells or doors opening, making him a quiet and easy-going companion. He also has a low food drive and won’t cause any trouble around food, simply sniffing without any further interest.
Dungi is sociable with other dogs, and he gets along well with friends of all sizes. He prefers light play with dogs he connects with, rather than running around in the yard. He would adapt well to a multi-dog household.
When it comes to walks, Dungi is well-behaved and walks calmly by his owner’s side, making strolls a pleasant experience. However, he does show a dislike for metal gates or stairs, so some caution is needed in those environments.
Dungi prefers to do his business outdoors and is not prone to separation anxiety, so he can comfortably be left alone. At night, he sleeps independently and waits quietly until morning, making him an ideal companion for those with a busy schedule.
However, there are a few things to keep in mind. Dungi can get startled and show discomfort if his tail, rear, or paws are touched suddenly, so it’s important for his owner to read his signals and build trust slowly. When visiting the vet, he tends to get anxious, so wearing a muzzle is necessary. Fortunately, he has been trained to tolerate a muzzle, and he receives medical treatment without issue.
In the past, the person who briefly fostered Dungi discovered that his teeth had been severely worn down, even exposing the nerves. To prevent ongoing pain, he underwent tooth extraction. He can now eat soft food without any problems and is living a healthy and happy life.
Having overcome his past struggles, Dungi is now ready to find a loving home where he can share his warmth and affection. He is a quiet, well-mannered dog with a heart full of love to give. If you choose to welcome Dungi into your family, he will repay your love with an even greater affection.
Give Dungi a chance to have the loving family he deserves, and he will be a devoted and loyal companion for life!
