Meet Jasper! Just like his namesake he is strikingly handsome with his multi-color fur making him one-of-a-kind. Also, he is known for his strength and durability of character.

Born January 25th, Jasper is an incredibly happy-go-lucky male German Shepherd mix with a tail that wags so fast it’s hard to keep up! His joyful energy is contagious, and he’s always ready for a game or some fun. Playful and outgoing, Jasper loves to explore and meet new people, but his cuddly side shines through when it’s time to relax—he loves snuggling up and sharing affection. Whether he’s playing fetch or just lounging with you, Jasper’s playful spirit and loving nature make him the perfect companion for anyone looking for a cheerful, fun, and cuddly friend.

All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas or Colorado. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).

Our out of state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days. The initial phase of our adoption protocol involves prospective adopters completing an adoption application.

Following submission, our administrative team conducts a thorough review, and if approved, the application is then forwarded to the animal's foster.

Subsequently, a phone interview is scheduled to address follow-up queries, provide additional information about the pet, and acquaint the adopter with our organization. If the interview is successful, arrangements are made for a meet and greet, along with a home visit. For pets adopted out of state, the meet and greet and home visit are conducted virtually.

The final steps in our adoption process include verification of identification, finalization of the adoption contract, and payment of the adoption fee.
