This helps Mutts N Such Rescue with pet care costs.
Meet Maisie, an adorable pittie/shepherd/husky mix who is as smart as she is snuggly! Born on January 21, 2025, Maisie came to Mutts N Such Rescue as part of a litter of eight puppies after her owner sadly suffered brain damage in a car accident, leaving her unable to care for her dog and the new babies. Now growing up in a loving foster home in Colorado, Maisie is ready to find a forever family of her own.
Maisie is one sharp pup — she’s quick to figure things out and always eager to learn! Whether she’s working on mastering new commands, figuring out a puzzle toy, or observing the world around her, Maisie is curious and thoughtful. Her intelligence makes her a great candidate for a family who wants to continue her training and help her reach her full potential. But don’t let her smarts fool you — Maisie has a soft side too. When she’s not busy exploring or playing, she loves nothing more than to snuggle up for some cozy cuddle time.
Maisie is looking for a family that will keep her mind engaged and her heart full. She would thrive in a home where she gets plenty of attention, playtime, and affection — and where she’s treated like part of the family. If you’re looking for a pup who is both clever and cuddly, Maisie is ready to be your loyal companion, adventure buddy, and snuggle partner all in one!
All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas, Colorado, or Pennsylvania. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc). Our out of state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days. If you are interested in adopting, please complete our application:
