My story

Hi there! I'm Shadow, a handsome silver/gray domestic short hair with gray stripes and a resilient heart. I came back into the program at 4 1/2 years old after originally being adopted as a kitten. I needed some medical help as I had urinary tract health issues, but FHS got me to the vet, got me the medical treatment I needed and on a great food that helps me stay nice and healthy. Now that I'm feeling better, I'm ready for loving home that wants a great cat. I get along with cats and dog-friendly cats. Originally, I entered the FHS program at 10 weeks old. My foster says at first I'm a little shy, especially I got home from being at the vet, but I just take a lil bit to get used to folks and then I settle right in and really love my humans and other furry friends. I LOVE a fun tree, especially if it has a little house built in. I still like to play. I used to have a toy named Scrunchy I carried around. It got lost, but toys are still great fun to have around. Once I get to know you, I love to be held and hang out with my favorite people. Food note: I do need Urinary Care dry food -- such as Hill or Royal Canin.

Did you know? Every Saturday & Sunday Frisco Humane Society has Adopt-A-Pet events at PetSmart at 3333 Preston Road, Frisco, TX. FHS has different adoptable cats there all weekend & adoption counselors on site to help, from Noon - 4 p.m.
