My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Dakota, a gentle giant with a heart of gold. While he is a big boy he loves to give hugs and kisses. Dakota is exceptionally well-mannered on a leash and walks calmly without pulling, making him a joy to stroll with. He’s never met a stranger. When excited, he can’t help but express his joy with a full-body wiggle that’s as contagious as it is endearing. Who wouldn’t want to come home to someone that happy to see them? The only problem with him is that he would be all too happy hogging your spot on the couch. Great temp test too - 11/10 recommend my boy Dakota.

More about this rescue

Bark About It Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit foster-based dog rescue. Our mission is to save dogs from urgent situations such as euthanasia lists, overcrowded shelters, and homelessness as well as to educate the public on the importance of spay and neuter. Our rescue is based in Pennsylvania, but we rescue dogs all over. Additionally to urgent cases, we also focus on helping long term shelter stay dogs.
