My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My foster mom calls me Choo-Choo Charlie Romeo, a handsome little Shih Tzu(believed to be) & I am looking for my forever family to love me. I’m about 2-3 years young, I weigh around 11 pounds and I am doing awesome with my crate training. I’ll need time and patience to adjust to my forever home just like I did here at my foster mom’s with my three foster sisters! I love the ladies! I’m wearing this fancy pool noodle collar because I was recently neutered. I know it’s a fashion statement! I know some basic commands of sit, come and go night night when I go to bed in my crate all night. I was neglected and abandoned by my last humans so I know my hair looks a little uneven but I am all cleaned up and cared for now like I deserve! I love affection and my tail goes crazy when you tell me that I am a good boy! All potential adopters are required to submit an application. Please download our application and email to info@puppiesandmorerescue.com

Interview

Requirements-Strong Vet reference & 3 personal ref. Must be open to a home visit. Once application is processed you will be notified status

3.
Meet the Pet

If approved and a good match the foster will reach out for a meeting with the puppy. Entire family and family dogs are required at the meet

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

Adoption donation of $295 plus $100 deposit to be returned to you once puppy is spayed/neutered and microchipped @ your Vet by 6.5 months

Our puppies are all in loving foster homes and an approved application is required to meet the puppies. Please be patient as we are volunteers and we will need time to process your application.

More about this rescue

We are a small Group of Volunteers in the South Jersey area who rescue death row puppies and get them into loving foster homes where we keep them for a minimum 10 days to update vaccines and socialize into a family setting with the ultimate plan of placing the puppy into a loving forever home. We educate the community about spay and neuter and adopting instead of buying from a pet store or breeder.
