Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Sparky!
Sparky is an 18-month-old, 40lb Lab/Golden Retriever/Terrier mix looking for his forever home! This affectionate boy is potty trained, walks well on a leash, and knows how to “sit.” He can be a little shy at first, but once he warms up, he loves cuddles and being close to his people.
Sparky enjoys car rides and is a fan of dog parks, making him a great companion for adventures. He would likely thrive in a cottage setting, enjoying the outdoors and fresh air. He gets along well with other dogs and would do great with a furry friend to help boost his confidence.
He has a big bark, so he’ll need a home (no apartments) with a securely fenced yard where he can feel safe and have space to explore. While he isn’t a high-shedding dog, he may not be suitable for those with allergies. Sparky was surrendered through no fault of his own and is currently being fostered in Etobicoke.
If you’re looking for a loving, loyal companion, Sparky might be the perfect match. Could he be the one for you?

As my foster family gets to know me my profile can change and will be updated accordingly. Check back often for details! An application for me can be found at www.justpaws.ca.
Just Paws is located in the Greater Toronto Area of Ontario, Canada. We do not adopt out of province or country.
Please note that although many of our dogs get along with children, we are not able to adopt to any household with kids under the age of 8 years old. This is a stipulation of our insurance and is not a reflection on suitability of the potential adopter.

Our mission is to rescue and rehome unwanted, abandoned, abused and unloved pets that find themselves alone and frightened in shelters. These animals give unconditional love and should receive the same love back. Unfortunately there is a need and while ever there is a need we will be there to help. Our long term goal is to build towards the opening of our own shelter and be able to help with behavioral issues, special needs, and to offer a haven to less adoptable pets. We are always very thankful for any pet related donations to assist the animals in our care
