My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

HOW TO ADOPT: This pet is available for adoption by appointment. To schedule a time to meet this pet, please email fosterinquiry@arl-iowa.org.

---

- A huge snuggler who loves to sleep in bed with her people

- Enjoys cuddling on chairs, couches and anywhere she can get cozy

- Super athletic and loves to run outside; always looks forward to her daily walks

- LOVES treats and would do just about anything for them, so would be a lot of fun to train (already knows sit!)

- Goes into her crate easily and settles nicely once inside, though was usually allowed to roam free in her foster home

- Likes to look out the window to see what's going on outside and will let you know if she sees anything suspicious

- A good listener who will come when you call her

- Appears to be potty trained, just remember any dog may take time to adjust to a new schedule and routine

- Has done well with other dogs while in a foster home

All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)

The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
