✨ Meet the Beautiful Miss Chloe!

✨ Chloe is a stunning one-year-old Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix, weighing approximately 39 pounds and ready to embark on her next big adventure! Chloe’s story began on a rough note — she and her sister were found abandoned on a rural road, skinny and unsure of the world. It was clear they had never experienced the warmth of a loving home or the comfort of kind human and dog relationships.

💖 But oh, how things have changed for Miss Chloe!

Fast forward to today, and Chloe is blossoming into a fun, spunky girl with a heart full of love. While she can be a bit cautious in new situations (understandably so!), it doesn’t take long for her to relax and eagerly engage with the world around her.
🐾 A People-Pleaser with a Heart of Gold

Chloe adores people. She’ll approach you with a soft, wiggly body and a bright, happy smile. Once you start petting her, she’ll lean in for sweet snuggles, gazing up at you with her breathtaking blue eyes — as if she’s trying to see straight into your soul.

🐕 A Social Butterfly with Her Canine Friends

Chloe is fantastic with other dogs! She’s had plenty of exposure to all kinds of breeds, sizes, and personalities in her foster home — and she loves them all. Her favorite games are a good round of chase and some playful bitey-face with her friends. Chloe’s naturally submissive; if an older dog tells her to back off, she listens and responds appropriately, often flopping onto her back as if to say, “Oops! No trouble here — I’m still learning!”

🌳 Leash Skills and Exploring the World

Chloe enjoys her walks and loves to engage with her environment through sniffing. She walks nicely on leash without pulling, though she’s curious about the world and likes to check everything out. Chloe is alert when she encounters new sights and sounds, but she’s learned that she doesn’t need to bark at things that surprise her. Instead, she’ll now look to her human for reassurance — and maybe a tasty snack — when something unfamiliar pops up.

🎾 Playtime and Prey Drive

Chloe enjoys chasing a ball in the yard, though the whole "bringing it back" thing is still a work in progress. She has a strong prey drive, so she’d do best in a home without cats or livestock. Country living may still suit her — she loves watching the action around her with that sharp herding-dog focus.

🐶 Smart and Motivated to Learn

Chloe is one smart cookie! She’s highly food-motivated, which makes training both fun and rewarding. While she doesn’t have a high toy drive (yet!), she’s thriving with positive reinforcement training and is quick to pick up new skills. Chloe may not be the next agility champion, but she’ll make an incredible companion dog.

🚀 Impressive Recall and Off-Leash Potential

Chloe already has an excellent recall, which speaks to her eagerness to connect with her person. Once your relationship is established and Chloe knows she’s home, she may be a good candidate for off-leash hiking in safe environments. With the right foundation and trust, Chloe could become the perfect trail buddy!

🏡 Easy to Live With

Once Chloe’s exercise and mental needs are met, she’s an easygoing housemate. She is not a “higher-energy” border collie.
She’s crate trained and house trained, and when it’s time to wind down, she’ll happily settle in with a chew toy or curl up for a cozy nap.
Chloe is ready to find her forever home — could it be with you? If you’re looking for a sweet, playful, and loyal companion, Chloe might just be your perfect match.
