My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Theo, a happy-go-lucky boy who is 1.5 years old and weighs 45 lbs. We think he might be a Beagle mix but we don't know with what. Theo is great on a leash and loves everyone he meets! He is really a "people dog" and he gets along well with other dogs and people of all ages, too.

Theo was surrendered to a shelter along with Ted SCAS and Ada SCAS who are also available for adoption. We've included a photo of them playing in the shelter play yard. Theo has been sitting at a shelter for about 1 month and has become a volunteer favorite - everyone loves Theo! We feel that he is housebroken since he never potties in his run but waits until he is outside on the grass. Theo will make a wonderful pet for some lucky family.

Eleventh Hour Rescue, based in Morris County NJ, is a primarily volunteer run, no-kill rescue that saves animals on Death Row from high-kill shelters. Eleventh Hour Rescue dogs and cats are cared for by our compassionate and dedicated team of volunteers and staff. Whether in foster homes, our kennel or adoption centers, each dog and cat receives a clean and safe living environment, fresh food and water, medical attention, and most importantly an abundance of love and care until they find their FURever homes. We are dedicated to educating the community about the animal over-population problem and the importance of spaying and neutering. All funds go directly to supporting our animals and their needs.
