Hershey my female chocolate lab, needs a new home. She is around 5 years old. She is spayed and has all her shots. She does gets UTI's on occasion. She was raised on some acreage, so she had a place to play. My husband passed away, so I had to move into an apartment. I have been trying to give her exercise, but I am 72 years old and have fallen twice in the last month with her pulling. She weighs around 90lbs and is very strong. I just can't handle her.
She is very sweet and calm. She doesn't get excited over things; she is very low-key. She loves children, people, other dogs, and cats, but squirrels are annoying. The squirrels kept climbing her trees. She would sit under a tree for hours knowing a squirrel ran up it.....she never realized they came down on the other side and ran away.
She is a working type dog (she doesn't work just the stature) as opposed to a show dog.
Hershey is a very good dog and I love her but I can't afford to break any bones.
