Tarjay is a tiny, sleek, black panther-in-the-making with a big future ahead of him! This little guy was found in a box in a parking lot, but thanks to a kind person, he's now safe, loved, and ready to find his forever home.

Though he's still very young, Tarjay is already showing how smart, affectionate, and playful he is. He loves to chase after toys, explore his surroundings, and cuddle up when he's ready to rest. His personality is still blossoming, but one thing is for sure—he's full of potential and will make an amazing companion for someone who’s ready to watch him grow.

Prior to adoption, all kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens under 5 months old must be adopted with a buddy or into a house where there's a kitten-friendly pet.

Additional adoption info

More about this rescue

We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization dedicated to saving local at-risk shelter pets from the San Jose Animal Care Center. Our goal is to give adoptable animals a chance to shine in a casual and relaxed environment, and expand opportunity for adoptions, thereby reducing the euthanasia rate in Silicon Valley. The Dancing Cat also seeks to create a community of cat lovers by providing a place for fun social and educational events.
