My name is Adult Kitty!

This cat was laying at my door when I moved into my apartment 2 yrs ago, with a bloody stub of a tail! She wanted to be friendly but swatted and scratched me when I tried to pet her. She continued to hang around and would great me when I came home from work, still wanting to be affectionate. I quick pet and immediate swat! This has gone on for 2 yrs now. My family even purchased a insulated cat house for her because they didn’t want any thing to happen to her. I have feed her twice a day as I do my own cats. She comes in, rubs against my legs now, allows and wants me to pet her, and I do. My cats do not accept her. She can’t stay with me and my leasing company will charge me $50 per month plus $500 deposit to keep her. I’m on a fixed income.
My heart breaks for her. She is finally coming out of her shell and gives body signals before she swats. I wish I could keep her, but I can’t afford her. So very sorry. A lady with a loving heart and gentle voice and touch would be a gift to her
